Biographical note: Susan completed first an honours degree in Statistics followed by
a degree in Economics, both at the
Australian National University.
Since then she has spent most of her career at the
Australian Bureau of Statistics,
specialising in the application of statistics to the methodological problems
confronting official statistical agencies.
Having wide experience in the design of surveys and in analysis
for both household and business surveys, Susan now heads the
Methodology Division of the
Australian Bureau of Statistics.
